I am very happy with what I received. However, I was fortunate in this situation that the shipping worked out. The problem with the shipping was, the 2 short ends of the box was not sealed. when i picked it up i was able to open and close the box without disturbing the packaging at all. I immediately walked back to the Post Office and showed it to the manager. He said I was extremely lucky that, A-the box didn't open in transit and the item would have been lost and B-that no one stole the item because it would not have been detectable. In fact, he seemed surprised that it actually made it to me. B concerns me very much. Had i opened the package at home, I would have no recourse, if it was empty. I had signed for the package. The sale/transaction was complete. They had fulfilled their responsibility. I am in a similar situation right now with a seller, Ebay, Paypal, USPS (no signature required) and my Mastercard. It appears everything was done correctly, yet I never received this package and am currently out $615, with nothing to show for it. This incident occurred in May and I am still disputing it and it is very frustrating. So because you asked, those are my thoughts and opinions. I realize my current predicament has nothing to do with the seller I ' m reviewing or any concern of yours. But it helps put my concerns in prospectus. You can contact me with any questions. Sue

They went above and beyond to help me obtain my items after I experienced a death in my family and had to cancel a trip to pick up the purchase. I really appreciate their flexibility and willingness to help at a very difficult time. I will definitely buy from them again!

Shaker was described as "Burmese" glass and it was not. It was white opalware painted to mimic Burmese. Contacted auction house asking for an adjustment and was essentially told "tough luck"-"we're right and you are wrong". Will never deal with this house again. I have purchased from Main Street a number of times. II have always been satisfied. Debbie Tinsley is the best! In-house shipping is prompt and much less expensive than the few other auction houses that will even ship in-house.

They were very helpful when I had trouble getting into the auction via eBay Live auctions. They gave me an alternative site and got me reapproved for the auction right away. Thanks. Shipment was great as well.

one lithophane was withdrawed before the auction finished-one lithophane I bought on the auction was lost already before shipping to Germany. For this loss they offered me US-Dollar 30 (the price I paid for it, besides the parts of freight, packaging, German duties, etc.). KH. W. DGPh

If an item is chipped, it should be stated in the description. I did not pay a lot for the item but I do buy online a lot and will take this into consideration with any future auctions with this auction house.

They offered in-house shipping that was reasonable and not a rip-off like other auction houses. Main Street Mining Co made the transaction very easy and convenient. I will purchase from Main Street Mining Co. again any time they have an item listed that fits my antique collection and investment needs.
