Mr. Taylor's statement is verbatim as to my comment. Someone obviously picked up the gun that should have been available to . I am sorry that this happened, and I must say that I assume the blame because the buck stops with me. My belief is that we had a mix up with our numbers when they were assigned. It did not help when we moved our guns several times after we postponed our auction back it May. I know excuses only count with those who speak the truth.

There are always cases where both parties are blamed when the truth would tell it all. We make very clear that we have no shipping department. We do try to accommodate some people who would find it difficult to get their item or items to a shipper. The only reason we do that is to make life better for them. It the case previously mentioned, we did nothing more than drop the items off at the shipper. As they say, "no good deed goes unpunished" We had nothing at all to do with packing or shipping in the case. and we no part in losing anything. t Someone made a statement that the boxes were discarded by a new employee who did not understand the value of the box. This gentleman is making an assumption that is not fair to us.
