I will try to do this experience the justice it deserves. Michael & Vallot Auctioneers far exceeded my expectations during this transaction and Michael demonstrated the utmost in professionalism, patience and kindness during every step of the process. I purchased this clock and there were many months of delays with the third party shipper I hired to ship the clock across the country to me. Not once did Michael complain about the delay, nor did he charge me storage fees. He simply asked me to keep him updated so he could make sure the clock was able to be brought to the loading dock when the time came. We kept lines of communication open and he always called back if I didn't reach him and left a message. He responded promptly to email too. Pics were good, description was good. I would highly recommend this business to anyone based on my experience. I will leave equally complimentary public reviews on Google, Yelp and wherever else I can... I made a mistake-a rookie mistake. I purchased a lot of art books without realizing what the shipping cost would be. Shipping was outrageous. Michael spent a truly ridiculous amount of time with me so that I could select the books that I wanted to ship. He could have dumped the books, he didn't have to spend any time with me at all, but he was so generous with his time-and his expertise. The truth is that I did not need to be involved because he knew exactly what I would want and what I wouldn't. I have extensive auction experience. I've never had such an amazing experience with an auction house. Just to be clear, there are numerous ways that this reflects well on the auction house, including not disposing of goods not removed promptly, not charging storage fees, not leaving the problem for me to solve by myself. Really quite extraordinary.

I bid on a number of items in their June 2021 auction and was the leading bidder on a beautiful print. The item even more beautiful in person. The auction house was very helpful and flexible scheduling my pick up. Really great customer service. I look forward to bidding again soon.

The bidding process was standard as with any auction house, post auction queries so far as payment instructions, shipping protocols and recommendations for vendors was timely. Tried initially to communicate by phone and was immediately successful, however, that changed perhaps because of necessity to disburse invoices!!! Productivity was restored through efficient email communication. I prefer to talk!!! Packing and Shipping was perfect and a final thank you to them was due after receiving the contact in perfect condition.
