I’ve purchased about five or six times from the Benefit Shop Foundation. I’ve been pleased every time with the articles I’ve received, including my most recent purchase of a vintage bracelet. It is important to remember that postal prices are constantly going up in price. I have found it practical to send my winning invoice to all of the recommended shippers, to get shipping estimates, before choosing one for the job. I always enjoy perusing the auction items assembled by the Benefit Shop Foundation. I’ve purchased items for myself and my home, as well as gifts for other people.

Be aware it’s not easy to receive items. The UPS does not respond most of the time.

The worst experience I’ve ever had in an auction situation. I purchased several items and when I went to pick up the items I had a terrible experience. The woman I spoke with when I arrived was very word and unhelpful. I started looking for my items with no help. I was told I couldn’t bring my bags with me and as the shopping cart bounced on the uneven floors one of the platters I had purchased fell out of the cart and shattered. No concern on the part of the employees only laughter. The “manager” yelled at me that it was my fault and they wouldn’t reimburse me before I had even thought to say a word. The surliness continued as I struggled to find my remaining items. I should add that I’m a senior citizen and one who will never bid for anything at this auction again.

This site automatically files a dispute wheather or not you have a credit card on file. They filed a dispute and kept it on for several weeks after the item was paid and picked up. When questioning their operation they didn’t seem to care and suggested not to bid with them anymore. I won’t-very petty and poor customer relations

Photos and descriptions are accurate. Staff is easy to work with and very helpful if needed.

My friend introduced me to The Benefit Shop, and I love it! They always have unusual and rare items. Give accurate descriptions. Plus, they are a charitable enity.

Well folks this certainly is a Diamond in the ruff. If you don't try it or use it great for me stupid for you. My advice carry on. Exit stage left, Texas as in El Pass O.

If I could give benefit house a zero stars I would. I'm done business with them twice and both times on satisfied. The last time particularly they kept changing the invoice I paid the original invoice of $80 next time I see it I owe him another $10 next time I see it I owe them sales tax next time I see him I own another $35 for what I don't know granite it took me a long time to pay because I was in the hospital. And you would think that people would be patient with that no not benefit house. And I want to sound like sour grapes cuz I'm sure there's people there that are very nice to work with but my particular case I would not give them even a one I would not refer anyone to them. I would not recommend them. I myself will never do business with them again. As it sits right now they kept all my money and the thing that I won so I'm out a gift and I'm out over $90 not a big deal to most people but I live on a small income I'm retired I'm 70 years old and I feel like they walked all over me
