It's always a treat when an auction win, done on the Internet exceeds expectations-and that was the case with this one. It arrived, I installed a new battery, did some minor cleaning and polishing and it proudly lives in my collection, running perfectly, looking great. It was well described, delivered quickly, and painless processing of payment and shipping arrangements. I wish they all were this good!

Overall everything went OK. Just got stuck in regards of the shipping. Both places that I was suggested are charging an arm and a leg just to ship to Canada.

Shortly after paying I was told the item was missplaced. It took 10 days of looking before I finally had to ask for my money back. In their favor, they did maintain communication and refunded as soon as I requested.

So I paid for shipping and they sent it my address in Manhattan rather than to East Nor thport as requested. Now I have to figure out how to get it there and pay postage again. Very annnoyed.

When I receive my package from Captain Ahab I was overwhelmed. All the items were exactly as described except for the pendant. It was so much better looking in person I couldn’t believe how the stone’s shined. I love using my bone letter opener’s and look forward to displaying my other items as well!

I was completely happy to own this small piece of history. I wondered Who wore this? It has the same design as a WWII German soldiers belt buckle, but without the crooked cross.. They had God on their side..... GOTT MIT..

Had thimble inspected and was not pan bone as described. It was made of plastic, lesson learned.

Auction promised two items, but only one was given. When I contacted the auction house, they would NOT offer any compensatory refund-but they would cheerfully negate the whole auction. Why buy at auction under those terms?

The print I purchased, apx 20 x 28, was sent between 2 pieces of 1/8 inch Foamcor. It arrived with 2 bends and a dent. I was able to flatten the lithograph in a vacuum press, but really, the packaging given showed very little care for such a valuable print.
