I buy Jewelry and sometimes find that auction houses charge too much for the shipping. Small items such as rings etc should be able to be posted for under $10-standard flat rate $5 shipping boxes are available-these should be used more often. When outside shippers are used the cost is usually higher so I don't attend auctions where shipping is not provided.
