Communication from the auctionhouse to the customer needs serious improvement. First of all, my questions around the quality of the lamp were only very superficially answered. Also questions to document the lamp (glass and fragile) before shipping were only answered 'to provide an answer' and not to really understand or help my needs. Last but not least, after being pressed to pay within the week so the lamp would be shipped the week after, it has taken almost two months before the lamp arrived. I have had to conduct many calls with many people and in Italian (although I do not speak Italian). The auctionhouse hides behind the responsibility of the shipment company. Also the auctionhouse communicates unprofessionally ('dont worry about the delay' or 'shipping is not my responsibility') or not at all. I would wish for this auctionhouse to develop a sense of customer service: proactive communication, really trying to understand the customer, being one step a head. The English language might be a barrier, however if Stadion Aste really wants to become an international auctionhouse, they will need to step up their game.
