Online only auction, item was a 6Qt kitchen aid mixer. Mixer was not functional when picked up, an as is notation would have given me a clue. No response to a follow up email stating that it was not functional. Cost an additional $50 to repair it myself. Auctioneer should plug an item in and test it for 30 seconds at a minimum.

I have bought from many sellers on LiveAuctioneers, but none have exceeded the customer service level of Kelly at Brooks Auction. LiveAuctioneers offered shipping on a small item for a ridiculous price. Kelly was able to get the item shipped at a fraction of the cost. Don't assume you have to use LiveAuctioneers for shipping, check with the seller first.
