These folks know how to package items for safe and fast arrival. We are resellers and unlike other auction houses where it can take weeks to receive your items Direct gets the items out fast-which helps with our business not having money tied up without product to sell. Great folks to deal with and they bring to market items that we carry.

A wonderful source for amazing antiques and collectibles. They are very efficient and describe all lots & items accurately. I had an issue with one of my purchases and the Owner took charge and resolved the issue fast and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them and I would definitely will buy again from them. The items were purchased at a good price and the descriptions were accurate. The in-house shipping was seamless and easy, and even though the auction ended over the holidays, I still received the items a lot faster than I have from many other auction houses/shippers. The price charged for shipping was exceptionally reasonable and I received very quick responses to my emails. Highly Recommended!

I have participated in the Direct auction many times. The people have been pleasant to work with. There’s a wide variety of things. Their price estimations are sometimes OK and sometimes a bit off so do your own research. This is probably my favorite auction, because they always have new items. there’s another auction that I love, but they only have an auction like every three months, so I love Direct and also they are close to my house so I can get big things without paying for Shipping.

Yes, I have been going to direct auction here in Chicago for 23 years. It is always a pleasure, the staff are always lovely and professional. The auctions are efficiently run and well-organized. I cannot speak to the shipping experience because I have always picked items up personally or had movers do it, but it’s gone smoothly every time. I have purchased everything from small rugs and knickknacks to paintings, rugs, chandeliers, stained glass, and large furniture from them. Some of their auctions are downright spectacular, like the one that had dozens of old Victorias, one of which I brought home and love every day. Back in 2002 I bought a lovely old painting that really needed cleaning, which revealed it to be a Buehler that was worth over $35, 000! I can recommend these guys with no reservations.
