Will not respond to emails
I can’t get Charles to respond via email on my shipping arrangements, though we have spoken on the phone and he said he would. I understand it takes some time after the auction, but it’s been 28 days and I can’t even get an update on if it’s going to get shipped anytime soon. I guess I keep waiting.

Your comments are false. We responded to your April 9th email twice as well as spoke to you on the phone on the 10th of April after your email enquiring about shipping out your item to your location-US Military base in Japan. We informed you that your tracking information will be forwarded to you when sent. You called a few days later and you were further informed a tracking will be provided when item is dispatched. Your purchase was on consignment and the consignor was away and now back and the item will be dispatched. We acknowledge and regret the delay. Thank you.

Please avoid this auction at all costs
I purchased this watch from them last year, and the item was never sent despite hundreds of phone calls. They made various excuses to delay shipping and eventually after 4 months or so I decided to ask for a refund. Until today there has been no refund whatsoever and they have refused to answer any call. I would consider this auction house a big red flag to purchase from.

I have never received the Art.
I have paid in full plus extra for shipping, I have never received the Art. Ive called numerous times and even spoken to them and they promise to ship but dont. i bought this item October of 2023

Quite happy!
This was actually two separate auctions, but I picked up the items all at once. Having had experience with this auction house before, I now knew what to do, and with a few phone calls, all but one of my items were neatly arranged for me to pick up. One minor item, a newspaper, couldn't be located, but I was offered a book to replace it, which was entirely reasonable and satisfactory to me. So I'll be watching out for more auctions from this house. Good selection of books.

Turned out well!
An initial effort to pick up the items glitched, but a second attempt proved to be rather pleasant, as the gentleman at the auction house proved to be quite chatty and helpful. One small item didn't turn up, but a suitable substitute was found. AND there were a few books and other items I picked up at the shop while I was there. Now that I know what the drill is, I will be bidding again with this firm.

Shipping is bad with live auctionners
Do not ship with live auctionner it is very bad. They charged 127 $for shipping on a 135 $item and it took a whole month to receive. It was well package tho.

Charles Malize from Churchill came thru Service +
I bought this very nice antique bracelet, and it was taking a long time to get it. Seems the person who had it was hospitalized, and Mr Malize sent someone on a Saturday to get the bracelet and then shipped it to me. GREAT customer service. It's great dealing with a company, that when things get messed up-they are there with SERVICE on steroids. I highly recommend them, and will continue doing business with them in the future.

After weeks of calls The WRONG iTEM WAS SENT!!!
NEVER WILL USE CHURCHHILL GALLERIES AGAIN!!! After weeks of BEGGING for a tracking number THE WRONG ITEM WAS SENT!!! NOT AT ALL AS DESCRIBED!!! A Putter was sent and NOT a MASHIE NIBLICK AS DESCRIBED WITH THE WORDS SCOTLAND NOT TO BE FOUND!!! I HAVE PHONE RECORDS AND PICTURES OF THE WRONG CLUB SENT!!! Never have I Ever experienced such INCOMPETENCE!!! IGNORANCE FROM A SELLER!!!. What a waste of my time and money! Now I will have to put a claim in with my credit Card for a REFUND!!! Sent pictures of WRONG GOLF CLUB SENT TO LIVE AUCTIONEERS. At Least they replied to my complaint!!! SEVERAL CALLS BEGGING FOR A TRACKING NUMBER and No replies UNTIL I complained to Liveauctioneers and then the WRONG CLUB WAS SENT!!!

Won this item and PAID FOR 5 Nov 23 have talked to ….. several times on the phone in regards to shipping this item and promised tracking information NEVER SENT!!! Now today called 2 times and believe my calls are being screened and NIT PICKED UP!! ASked for a Review of this auction experience WAIT FOR IT!!! What a waste of my time and money!!! My Socials will reflect this experience!!! And will be filing a BETTER BUSINESS COMPLAINT!!! Either you purposely refused to mention the date you paid for your shipping or your memory failed you. You paid a week after end of our 5th November auction. What’s more, you complained to Churchill Galleries – Your statement the “outrageous” shipping cost Live Auctioneers shipping service was charging you before deciding to engage our service. Our shipping policy on Live Auctioneers platform clearly states to allow 2 – 3 weeks from date of shipping payment to receive your purchase. In this case we are still within the time frame. We are a business. If you call and no one answers-kindly leave a message and one of staff will revert back you. It’s just that simple – NO Mystery. We have returned your calls multiple times in the past. We requested images of what was received and acknowledge the mix-up. Churchill Galleries will refund in full.

I have not yer received my items, 5 months after purchase.
The gallery never provided a tracking number. Finally they said that parcel was returned to them (no delivery made to my address which was correct, no message received from courier) and that they would send again. But they only sent 2 out of 5 objects, and not the most important of them. Then disappeared again without responding to my messages. I am shocked by this behaviour.

I received the wrong picture, it was Shattered, no resolution.
I must admit this is the first problem I have encountered with Church hill Galleries, but: Several weeks lapsed and the item I won was not sent until I called and questioned the purchase. The wrong item was sent, and on top of that, it was a huge picture and the glass was shattered into hundreds of pieces. I called and encountered customer service that said it would be processed and I would be reimbursed the money. Then we played tag, back and forth for two more months with a lot of excuses about why they weren't ready to refund my money. Almost six months have passed and they no longer acknowledge my emails and phone calls. I have never received such treatment, except for listening to the News. We are living in THE ERA OF LIARS. Be careful it does not happen to you too.

Bad experience!
I do not recommend this seller. I received the order after several months and multiple reminders it was a nightmare. The item had finally arrived broken and the description misleading. I have no confidence in this seller. Fortunately, the live Auctionner help center was there

Bought this item a while back and it took a while before it got here but it did eventually arrive. Actually didn't expect it too. Was a very pleasent surprise when it did. I also ordered a book from these guys so I suspect I'll be receving that in the coming days.

Slow at Shipping
As long as you are not in a hurry for your item/items everything else is OK. Took a very long time to process the order and ship. But both items were as described and packaged well.

Sells Fakes, Website Guarantees Authenticity, but they do not honor their state policies.
We purchased an item from them described as from 1746. When we went to pick it up, the item was a modern photocopy of a reproduction from the late 19th century. The gallery owner recognized that it was not from 1746, or even from the 19th century, but refused to refund the purchase price, despite the supposed 'Guarantee of Authenticity' they advertise on their website. He was very defensive and argumentative. We lodged a complaint with LiveAuctioneers, which went unanswered by Churchill Galleries. Also a BBB complaint, which went unanswered. I would strongly recommend reconsidering any bids.

Our Live Auctioneers auction platform policy terms for all bidders-prior to bidding in paragraph 3, 10 and 11 clearly affirms the following. “(3. All property is sold "as is" and neither Churchill Galleries nor the listing agent makes any warranties or representation or any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness, nor deemed to have made any representation or warranty, or description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, or condition of the property and no statement made at the sale, or in the bill of sale, or invoice, or in the catalog, or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability. Prospective buyers are urged to inspect those lots in which they have an interest”). (“10. You arrived at the gallery and tried loading four panels of your winning into a small Mini Coupe that measures approximately 152” inches in length. Dimension approximate for each panel: 81 "H x 32" W inches. How is that possible? You also proposed paying by CHECK on arrival. This was rejected. Your statement of complaint with LiveAuctioneers, went unanswered by Churchill Galleries is imaginary. While some aspects were confusing, such as a duplicate item listing, I did contact and received a call back from the auction house. I used the Live Auctioneers shipping option and was very pleased with their packaging and ship times. Item came via FedEx.

Never received both of my items. BEWARE
Bought 2 newspapers, only received one. Asked about the 2nd one, they said they would look into it. This was over 3 weeks ago. I have emailed a couple of times but they have never responded back. Since they couldn't bother to follow up, I opened a case with my credit card company that I used to pay for the undelivered item to at least try to get my money back.

Could have done a better job with the description
There was no mention that the phone had been used as a lamp. Little disappointed. Took over a month to get it shipped, was never given any tracking information, glad it showed up.

Churchil Galleries NY takes NO responsibility for delivery
Since I won the item in October, 2021, I contacted numerous times for tracking and receiving the item. Almost a year later now, I still do not have the item I paid for. I had to have my attorney send a legal letter but no avail. I have to file in Small Claims now. Churchill Gallery NY is irresponsible, has no business ethics, and without customer service. It just wants to collect from you and then drop you; this is equal to scamming and fraud.
