The Buyer purchased lots 941, 955, 958, 984, 986, 993, 1002, 1012, 1035, 1048 at the December 18, 2021 auction, which included six Coca-Cola collectibles glass frames, 28 Coca-Cola cups, two large pottery cookie jars, etc. Three 18X18X18 boxes with weight about 20-30 lbs were shipped from Maryland to Colorado with very reasonable shipping rates (30 % cheaper than commercial shipping providers), the auction house even waived packaging fees for buyers as well. The buyer should realize the packing/shipping cost is not related hammer price, but size, weight, and destination only.

If you are going to sell cameras you need to know the basics if the camera is close to functional and the lens isnt obviously trashed. What I bought was someones garbage. Shame on me.

Got the worst UGLY & FAKE Chinese Bronze Mirror in years
The auctioneer provides no clear description or condition report. The title is vague and deceptive. Only two pictures are provided that resemble an authentic ancient item. When the product is received, it can be seen as FAKE within a second. The look-and-feel is far from what the picture shows. The estimated value is utterly exaggerated to resemble what an authentic item is. When I complained, I did not get a timely response. When I messaged two times, what I see is some rhetoric question saying they did nothing wrong. PLEASE TRY YOUR BEST TO AVOID THIS AUCTIONEER. It's both a waste of time and money, and a very disgusting bidding experience.

The bidder should refer to lot 1385 in the 2020 autumn auction. We describe the lot accurately. Obviously, the client lacks basic knowledge of the collection, and the accusation against the auction house is only his own conjecture and is totally groundless.

One item OK, another NOT OK by any means.
Bid on two items, won one, lost the other. I would be quite happy to lose to another bidder if they bid a higher price, except when my bid was accepted I was the first bid and told I was the highest bidder. According to Live Auctioneers, the item SOLD for $40, which was what I bid. Except it went to somebody else. Me first email to Towsononline was not even acknowledged. Two days later I emailed again to complain, I was told it sold for $50 through another online website. Yet the Sold price was still $40 on Liveauctioneers website. So either Towsononline is not reliable or Liveauctioneers is not reliable. Not happy either way.

Hi Alan, we are sorry to hear that you lost the bidding. We have several auction platforms running simultaneously. In this case, ourliveauctioneers.com customer set an absent bidding to $40. The lot started at $20 from another platform, the fromLiveauctioneers.com bid $30, a customer from another platform bid at $40 again, thus the customer fromliveauctioneers.com lost the lot, even if the highest absent bidding is $40 (actually the auction house never knows any absent bid prices from customers, those date are saved in the liveauctioneers system). Therefore we always encourage our customers to participate in the current auction activities instead of just setting absent bid prices. We hope these can help our customers understand the operation of our online auctions. Thank you!

Think about shipping cost when you buy an item
Bought a 20 dollar item and paid 40 in shipping; not their fault but I felt like a real doofus when I realized it!

NEVER AGAIN
Item received was chipped, no photo of porcelain chip and no description. Shipping experience between auction house and 2 UPS stores they have listed was traumatic. Ship cost was $38 for a 4 "x 2" porcelain bowl. Auction was April 27th, I paid April 28th and received damaged item, nearly one month later on May 25th.

The auction house offers local pickup only. SHIPPING OF PURCHASED PROPERTY IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. The buyer should actively contacted the shippers ASAP after payment. In this case, something were going wrong for communication between the buyer and all shippers and the auction house. In fact, the auction house did assistance for the shipping request after they got the buyer's email. The auction house also waived the buyer's obligation for storage fee. The conditions of item were clearly displayed on the images.
