This company is either undermanned or disorganized. I paid my invoice for my winning bid, requested a shipping invoice, and here I am 2 months later still awaiting that invoice. I’ve requested a refund. I’ll never bid on this auction company’s items again. Horrible experience.

While items were as described and carefully packed, they took 5 weeks to arrive, and only after I prompted the auction house. I heard nothing from them until UPS had assigned tracking numbers, and then only to be told my items would arrive the next day, which I already knew via UPS.

Absolutely top notch!!! Highly recommend Ross!!!

Sent tracking information that meant nothing.. this went on for weeks, when I would email them with concerns they would send the same bad tracking number … this went on for weeks … and item description was very poor and almost non existent..

I have participated in online auctions for almost 25 yrs now, and every now and then I run into an auction house that has decided to make their in-house shipping dept. a MASSIVE profit center. Profit is one thing; an outright RIP-OFF is another. And, to make matters worse, they don't even provide you with a list of outside vendors in their area whose main business is shipping. IT's their way or the highway!

I paid for my won items, as well as shipping, and never received them.

I regret to write this review but this is my first time ever that I did not received my winning bid. Awfully treated by this Company. Left myself alone without knowing where my Napoleon is with the US Postal Service. This is unprofessionally done!

This auction does not speak up for what they say. They tell you one thing and do the other. I had recently bought a knife set that was said to be Russian but I had called multiple times to make sure that it was what they said it was but after I had revived the item it turned out to be European after I called them several times making sure it was Russian. We called them after finding out that it was the opposite of what they sold us and they simply said we didn’t say it was Russian when in the description that’s exactly what it said. They give false hope to their customers and twist their ways into getting money and walk away. Do not trust this auction because I feel like I have been scammed and will never be their costumer again. terrible business people. Not trustable. We offered to give the item back but they did not accept nor give us a refund.

Buyer beware. Bought what I thought was an original but after taking it to have it appraised found out it was a reproduction. Sent it back but never received my refund.

They are very good and helpful people. The owners are very genuine and do a great job. The stuff is Excellent.

These folks are easy to work with. very nice to deal with.

We bought three large pieces of furniture from them (two Victorian secretaries and a large mantel), and travelled with a truck from NC to Ohio to retrieve them. Very professional staff who packed up our items beautifully for the trip. Not a scratch on them once we arrived. Many other auction houses just bring your item to the door, and it's up to you to get it set for transport but not Ross! I will buy from them again and we are so pleased with the variety and breadth of antiques they offered. Fair prices too! And they are located in a historic building surrounded by blocks of lovely Victorian and Colonial Revival houses in Chillicothe too.

Shipping was slowed down due to the pandemic, but my questions were answered immediately. The item I purchased was packed very well. In fact, it was probably packed better than any item I have ever purchased at an auction. Thank you.

Had a delightful experience as a first time bidder at Ross Auction Company. Catalog images and descriptions were excellent. Bidding process straight forward as was the payment process. Really appreciate Ross Auction Company inhouse packing and shipping. Beautiful offerings on their sales. I will definitely be anticipating future auctions and will definitely participate. Could not be more pleased with my experience at Ross Auction Company.
