I paid for my item via check, but my check was never received. I then paid by credit card, which included another upcharge over and above the upcharge I had to pay by winning the item. That payment was made on April 8. Today is April 23 and my item is still not here. I have called and was told someone would return my call the next day, but that never happened. I have sent emails asking where my item was, had it been shipped or not and please provide tracking for my item. I have had no response to any of my inquiries. Is this a Real Auction, or is it a SCAM???

Apparently, I have not been the only one to be fooled. Rare Treasures sells reproductions but advertise them as originals. Beware and stay away!

Buyer beware. This is a reproduction item. At no fault of the auction house, my mistake.

Items received were just as described. Rare Treasures was easy to deal with and shipped fast. Highly recommend

I've bid in several Rare Treasure auctions and have always had a great overall experience.

Never refunded my payment. Had t contact my credit card company.

The item was posted as an authentic Civil War jacket, but it was a replica. Seller accepted a return but didn't refund my money. The response I received when I questioned the status of my refund was always, "it's on the way". I had paid $1885.00 for the item, so this was not a minor expense. Happily I had paid with my Am Ex card. When I contacted Am Ex and explained the problem, they refunded my money. Rare Treasures never sent a refund. Many of the items they have listed for sale and which are purported to be authentic Civil War items are reproductions.

In general a good auction house to deal with. Honest, reliable, l have dealt with on a number of occasions and have delivered what described.

The shipping is over inflated. They charged $10 plus and the the postage was only $3.63

Cuff title was advertised as a veteran bring back from World War II. But upon receiving it it was a reproduction. Very disappointed spend about almost $200 for a $20 item shipping and payment went well. Just disappointed in what I received.
