Reliable Auction House... Especially For Online Bidders
You never know what to expect when you bid at an auction, but I am happy that the items received, were exactly as advertised. The auction house did a great ob with their pictures and descriptions. The shipping was fairly priced and quick. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

I won several pieces in auction. I called Coral Gables Auction and spoke to them about consolidating the shipping for some pieces to one location, and some pieced to another. They ship immediately and everything was well protected. Overall I could not have been better served. Can not thing of a single criticism.. HIGHLY recommended!!!! P. S. They have great art!!!

Sham company. Do not do business with.
Email I sent to them which was never responded to. Yet they charged my credit card and never sent the watch. What kind of scam outfit are you running? On lot # 0232, I had the high bid of $175. Before the auction went live, I increased my bid to $200. I didn't get any warnings or indication that an equal or higher bid was made. In fact, it still showed me as the high bidder at $175. Never got an email stating that I was out bid or didn't have the high bid. The next thing you know, I get an email stating that I didn't win, yet the sold price was $200. How does this happen? My bid should have counted before a floor bidder since I placed it before the auction went live. Then I noticed that a few of the watches that I had on my watch list were shown as passed even though they had bids on them. Then they went from being passed to a buy it now of $500. What kind of ********** is that? And what's with the ********** $9.03 online payment fee? As far as I'm concerned, if you can't honor my pre-bid of $200, then you can also cancel my winning bid for lot # 0189 You are not the kind of auction company I want to do business with. Refund my money and keep the watch!!

I exchanged several emails with you where I explained how the auction works, as I see in your account you have very little experience in purchasing at auction since you have only bought 3 pieces including the one you bought from us. I attach a copy of one of the emails we exchanged I already explained in a previous email how the offer works, your offer for $175 was received but the one for $200 was not received since when you offered the $175 we already had another offer for the same price and the platform has to increase the offer so that the platform makes an offer of $200 and the client has an offer of $225, if another client had made an offer above your $175 on liveauctioneers, the client loses the offer since you tell me that you had put up to $200 but as No client bid above you but it was the platform that raised the offer because we already had $175 for the other platform before you, for that reason it did not take your offer of $200 because the offer you would get would be $225. The watches that you see in buy now are because they did not reach the reserve, the buy now is $500 or make an offer

We have several shipping options, if you were not satisfied with our price you could have contacted an alternative shipping company, your check to cover the cost of shipping was received on January 4th and deposited on January 5th and your bank did not I paid the check until Tuesday, January 9, so it's only been two days since we received payment for your shipment. Our policy encourages us to have 7 to 10 days after receiving payment to send the piece and we've barely had two. Likewise, I am pleased to inform you that your piece is in the shipping department and may leave tomorrow or Saturday, you will receive the tracking number in your email.

item came damaged and nothing was reimbursed
The item came completely destroyed. I wasn't able to get anything other than a few hundred dollars in shipping towards our next purchase. Buyer beware.

We are very sorry that your piece arrived damaged, however you sent the release so that we could deliver your piece to a shipping company, when they picked up the piece at our auction house the piece was in perfect condition. In our terms and conditions it is well specified that the auction house is responsible for the piece when it is in our possession, when the piece leaves our auction house it is no longer our responsibility, the responsibility belongs to the shipping company that the client I authorize Despite all of the above explained, the shipping company you used has an email from you (which the auction house also has) where you said very clearly that they would not put insurance on the piece because you had your own insurance company, upon receiving the damaged piece, the shipping company has no one to make a claim to since you did not provide insurance. Even so, knowing that you did not provide insurance, I contacted the company so that they would give you a refund considering that we have been doing business with them for more than 6 years and they agreed to reimburse you (without having to do so) $300 dollars plus $100 dollars that the packaging insurance will reimburse you. Even though I have helped you and spoken to you several times about this situation, you give the auction house a negative review that has nothing to do with the situation.

Terrible customer service
I won an item from Coral Gables over a month ago. They were very good about collecting my money for the item and for the shipping. Since then I have received one email stating that they were very busy and that I would have the tracking info on Monday. 2 Mondays have come and gone and still nothing. They don't return phone calls or emails. Terrible, I ould never recommend them to anyone. Unless of course you enjoy terrible customer service in which case bid away and good luck getting the item you paid for.
