Untrustworthy. Never shipped the item. Would never deal with this auction house again. Beware.
This is not a trustworthy auction house. They never sent the item despite promising multiple times. I will never deal with them again and I advise caution.

BUYER BEWARE
I won a door knocker almost two months ago, and it still hasn't been shipped! I've sent many emails and received vague responses at the beginning, and NO response for the last month. They're not answering my emails at all! I've requested a full refund, also with no response. They only refunded the shipping fee but no refund yet for the full item. I've asked Liveauctioneers to intervene, but with no resolution yet. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS AUCTION HOUSE! You will regret it-these people are thieves!

The picture was not the same as the item received
I received a ring that was not the same as the listing picture. After a long fight I was finally provided a replacement (four months later) that was still lacking. I would not recommend this auctioneer!!!

Customer service is hit and miss
I work at an auction house, and had a really hit and miss experience here. My questions were mostly answered when I contacted them, which was a plus. I left an absentee bid, but managed to watch the auction live, and saw I did not win the item as the bidding stalled one bid above my max-and was surprised the next day to get an invoice for my maximum bid. I understand errors do happen, but there is usually an explanation offered to the customer, because this could be indicative of shill bidding. I'm not accusing, just sharing an observation. Shipping was wholly inappropriate. For a single coin, I was charged over $50 for shipping, even though our shipping department (we have 5 total employees-small shop) would have been no more than $32 for the same location-to-location ship (insurance and shipping total). I am not sure why the shipping had to be so high, but that alone would definitely cause me to take my business elsewhere. I get that I will pay a steep premium-that is unavoidable-but slamming customers with a much higher than necessary shipping is just not acceptable today when options for reliable and cheaper service is available. I am simply left with too many concerns to bid here again.

Ring was 37 business days late-I was told I would get fully refunded 10 business days ago-BEWARE
I purchased 4 items. Returned all 4 for false and misleading photos and advertising. PROBLEMS: The gold was under the gram weight advertised, 2 necklaces were not the chain advertised, the quality was terrible, a ring bent when trying it on and the sizing actually ran large, the images are not what is actually sent (admitted to me by the manager, Michael) and horrible customer service. BUYER BEWARE I wish I could post a picture of what I received. The disparity is not to be believed. There is a reason most of their reviews are horror stories

Wrong item sent, it was used and broken!
1st Asset Collections sent the wrong telescope, it was not new and broken. They promised to send the correct one and never did. They then promised to send a full refund and never did. Now they are not responding.

The pendant is not the same design, attached to a chain & I was informed I had to pay $50 more
I was contacted after winning this item and was told the pendant attached to the chain photographed with it was not included. I needed to pay $50 additional to receive the jewelry in the auction. The request for additional money was outside of the Live Auctioneers platform-I should have known how this would end. The pendant in the photo is literally soldered onto the end rings of the necklace. I paid the additional fee because I felt I had no other alternative. The necklace arrived 8 business days late and it was not the same chain and it was not the same pendant design. The photograph has a very distinct separation from the top of the pendant to where the “diamonds” taper. The “diamonds” look like teeth marks in reality-this is not because it is a pave setting, it is poor workmanship. I was told by the manager, William, that the chain was not the one in the photo and even though the design of the pendant is incredibly wrong, I would be charged a restocking fee for the pendant. I wouldn’t be charged fees for the chain. William admitted they do not send the item as photographed. Flat out. This is false advertising. I won an additional item in an auction that day from 1st Asset. A $600 ring that I still have not received 37 business days after purchase. Their shipping quote is 7-10 business days. 1st Asset Collections is trying to penalize me 40 % of the sale for an item not sold as advertised-20 % restocking and 20 % buyer premium, for an item that is illegally advertised because it is not sold as photographed, described or shown. I wish I could upload pictures of the actual items that were sent to me. I purchased in good faith. Two other items I bought before this package was delivered were short on the gold weight, not the same chain and the ring was so poorly made, it bent when trying it on. The ring was loose. I honestly and fully dispute the quality of the jewelry and photos they advertise. It is like gumball machine jewelry-but worse.

The Chain and Ring Are Not the Item That is Photographed-Gold Weight is Short and Horrible Quality
I received the pendant necklace and ring late. The chain was not the same as in the photo and the ring was made so poorly, it bent when trying on. I sent in photos to show 1st Asset that the chain was 10x smaller than the photo and I was told I was wrong-that I hadn't "zoomed in enough." I took the items to a jeweler and he said not only was it not the same chain, but the gold gram weight was more than a gram short and the ring was paper-thin and of the poorest quality. I sent "zoomed in photos" and was told the chain was ACTUALLY not the same as photographed. In returning the items that are such poor quality, falsely advertised, and not delivered in the 7-10 business day window-I was told I would be charged a total of 40 % fees of the purchase price-20 % restocking fees, for something that is not as sold, and 20 % buyers premium-THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. After calling and getting the "Majic Jack customer is not available" (not a real business phone number) and sending many emails, the representatives from LiveAuctioneers had to start sending them emails to get them to respond-I was ignored after I proved they lied to me about quality and the weight of the jewelry. This is false advertising at its best. I purchased 4 items-this is just the first 2-the 3rd item will be reviewed next. William, manager from 1st Asset Collections, admits the items in the photos are not what is being sold. WATCH OUT and DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

They have thieves amongst them
Very odd my two best items I bid on won, paid for, had them packed into boxes, one of which was only half full, came up missing, no record of them ever being shipped, I am not a very happy camper! Someone stole the two pieces, period.. they didn’t get up and walk out, and that means my days bidding are flat out over!

Ring not as Photo
I received the Ring not as photo. The ring is shiny and looks brand new in the photo the ring I received appears to be made poorly the white gold is not polished to a shine it is rough and unfinished and there is scrap gold on the inside of the band that shouldn’t be there. I reached out to the company twice now and I’m still waiting for a response. I am very disappointed.

its hard to get ahold of any one in regards to Delivery and customer service
The auction its self went great but trying to get delivery updates is almost impossible getting emails back is very slow and trying to get ahold of anyone on the phone is impossible

I would not recommend this company. They will not sent viable information for shippers. I now fear, because of their aggressiveness, that my item will arrive damaged. I cannot trust them because of their heavy handed aggressiveness.

I paid with VISA for 3 items the day after the auction, to include shipment on 5 Jun. On 21 Jun, I sent an email on the status of my items and received the next day that my shipment would be sent that week. On 10 Jul, I finally received only two of my three items without any statement on my third item. And the box came thru the US Post Office costing $9 after I paid $45 for shipping. On the date of receipt, I called and had to leave a message on where the third item is. Then on the same day I received an email that I would be refunded the money for the third item. It wasn't until 15 Jul that the refund was posted to my VISA. The first time I used this auction company, I was very satisfied but this second time I see that they lack any customer service and they will overcharge you on shipment. I will not use them again.

Never got an invoice but they filed a dispute? Avoid these guys.
Figure this one out: despite asking for an invoice three times, they file a dispute for non payment? In all my years of bidding on LiveAuctioneers I have never encountered an auction house like this. Avoid these guys if possible.

It happens. One of the items was lost in shipping somewhere. We waited for quite some time, thinking it may have been routed wrong. After it was known to be lost, the company issued a full refund, which was great. Maybe it's out there somewhere still...

Horrible service. Took multiple email exchanges and phone calls to rectify a poorly described product. Disputed the charge with my credit card company to finally get a response from auction house. Item was returned and refund issued. Will not deal with them again

Total scam
I reached out after not receiving the won item 10 biz days after paying and they said they would ship within a week. When i still didn’t receive it I reached out again and they said the item was defective and refunded my bid.... yet I noticed they relisted the identical item. In my opinion they didn’t receive the bid $s they wanted as the reason they canceled and I see several other reviewers had the same experience.

1st Asset’s business phone seems to be disconnected sine I last tried to call. Also, a new address and “Temporaily Closed” I have NOT received several gold coins which I won bids on and 1st Asset Collections are SCAM ARTISTS!! Where’s the $8000 which I sent to you now???
