Our family run business spanning three generations, specializes in the conservation, appraisal, and collection management of a wide range of artwork; from 15th century antiquarian maps, old master paintings and mid century to modern art. Some notable works in the collection include: Ptolemy's 1478 Atlas, Oils by Monet, Sargent's watercolors, and modern works by Warhol, and Haring. Our philosophy is one of full transparency, and we endeavor to disclose an accurate description and describe any condition issues or defects if present in what we offer at auction. Our collection maintenance is all performed to AIC (American Institute of Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works) standards. Our auction estimates are based on our experience as appraisers and reflect the current market ranges for similar pieces. Our buyers' premium never exceeds 15%.
