The Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP), established in 2014, brings the great master musicians of our time to Lunenburg, a UNESCO world-heritage town in Nova Scotia, Canada, to provide world-class tutelage to gifted young musicians at the stage in their lives when such an experience could have the most profound impact on their prospects for future success. Now five years on, our school provides advanced training to some of the most gifted young postgraduate musicians from across Canada and around the globe. LAMP’s unique educational model enables our musical protégés to experience immersive instruction from the world’s greatest masters in disciplines like opera, strings, early music, piano and composition. In a short time, LAMP has emerged as one of the most innovative and exciting post-graduate music schools in Canada, and one of the most important opera schools in North America. 100% of the proceeds from this auction will go towards student scholarships and programming.
