Beautiful lamp!
It was a bit scary purchasing an item in Germany. Correspondence was great and I can’t tell you how well my lamp was packaged. It was from Germany to San Diego. Don’t let the language barrier scare you. They will work with you. Buy with confidence.

Shipping is a disaster/MBE Oberursel
I recently purchased two lamps from this auction house. The shippers they recommend were extremely expensive, more than the lamps. Worse than that they were very rude. When the piece arrived with broken glass they never even responded to the email or the claim (they were insured). Mail Boxes Express/stay far away. And the auction house does not offer any reasonable shippers, maybe don't but from them if you have to ship.

We are very unhappy to hear that the lamps were damaged during transport. They are great design objects at a very resonable price. That is the reason why shipping was higher then the purchase price. I will contact the shippers personally tomorrow to find out were the process is at this point in time. There are 600 shippingcompanies in the vicinity (because of Frankfurt Airport), We are happy to use anybody the buyers are happy with. At the moment there are 21 shipping companies on the list. Maybe we will increase the number of shippers on the list? These are all professional shipping companies. We expect them to be as good in their job as we are in our job, being an auction house. Simple and Precise
The aftersale process was fast and simple. No doubts could take place due to the precise instructions received. Beauty and quality of the items are always subjective. I can say I'm very happy the items are as they were described, if not better. This is definitely not bad for an auction I can attend online only. Thank you

there are shippers on their recommended list that are predators. the auktionhaus adds 6 % for paypal.

Dear . We named an alternative payment method that is cheaper than paypal. As stated in the conditions we have to add the cost of what paypal charges us ontop. That is 5, 5 % to be precise. Excangerates may varry. You requested payment via paypal. There are circa 280 shippers within 25 milles from were you live. Feel free to use any one of them from your end. We accept all shipping companies. We do not exclude anybody. We are auctioneers, not shippers. Shocking that these professional shipping companies sometimes appear not to know what they are doing. We take pride in what we do. I hope our service was to your satisfaction. We are not resposible for things that happen outside of what we control. Shocking is how many parcels these professional shippers loose or damge during transit in my opinion. We hope you will bid again. Because of frankfurt Airport we have over 600 shippers near by. We are happy to work together with any shipper. We can not decide for you. We try to be as helpful as possible. One last word. Items as described, challenging shipping and payment process
Good photos and as described. They add a 5 % fee to use Paypal, otherwise wire transfer is really your only option from the US. The shipper they use is terrible. Took many emails and long delays to get any responses and often took this auction house a long time to reply as well. Was a huge headache to get my item shipped (and payment challenges as well), and I wouldn't go through that again.
