Interesting experience
The items that I purchased are excellent, the communication regarding payment etc was rude, aggressive and unnecessary-yet the person I spoke to when calling was super friendly and nice (I'm assuming that was not Donal-and if it was-if you had that attitude on e mail you would be far more pleasant to deal with) Looking back at other reviews people have written about their experience-I would look at the way you communicate via e mail it really is incredibly rude and dismissive-if you can get past that then the experience is good-if you do happen to have the displeasure of dealing with Donal-prepare yourself for a barrage of insults and wild assumptions from your understanding of time zones, fast payment systems, junk e mail etc. The most disagreeable character I have encountered in my time on Live Auctioneers.

DON'T BID WITH THIS "AUCTION HOUSE"
kings russell auctioneers are incompetent and unprincipled. They inaccurately listed an item and when I found out from an expert the item I won was not correct, I emailed some lad named Donal S., I explained to him that the item was wrongly attributed and that I wouldn't pay for the item, he became very rude and unprofessional. So I spoke with a LiveAuctioneers rep. and submitted all documents from multiple sources and experts stating that the item was wrongly listed. But the so called "auction house" still insisted they were right. LiveAuctioneers understood the item was wrongly attributed but could not do anything about it unlike eBay and Invaluable (very bidder and consumer friendly sites). The so called auction house have re-auctioned the item still incorrectly listed to some poor fella who now thinks it is what they labelled the item as (very unethical). They are still asking me to pay for the item as there is still an open dispute on my account with them. An auction house has a responsibility to both sellers and bidders. kings russell auctioneers are very incompetent, I advice all to stay away or at the least take caution when dealing with them as they are untrustworthy. Sir, your invoice was cancelled after you refused to pay by the stated date. You refused repeatedly to provide your "proof" to this auction house. Therefore we accept that you had no proof and simply were refusing to pay. You have now been flagged as a Bad Payer. You have no outstanding invoice with Kings Russell. Your ban from bidding at our auction house is permanent. Your record as a bad payer is permanent.

Terrific experience!
Very happy bidding and buying from Kings Russell; excellent item, responsiveness and shipping. Only suggestion-please add more payment systems available overseas, such as PayPal and Zelle. Otherwise superb! Very grateful for in-house shipping too.

Fatal!! They haven't send my lot, they don't answer. I think that in these cases the response and support from LiveAuctioneers platfform should be real!!!

Sir, you did not pay for your lot, hence your transaction was cancelled. You didn't respond to payment request within the given payment period stated in our terms, we then chased you after the required payment date to give you further opportunity to pay and you still didn't make payment. It is you who has breached contract and terms, not us.

j'ai attendu plus d'un mois pour avoir mon colis... apr è s m'avoir conseill é JGM comme transporteur, j'ai pay é plus 250 livres livraison et la vitre mon tableau est arriv é e cass é e. Ils ont dit qu'ils allaient me transmettre le catalogue raisonn é pour l'oeuvre vendue, ils ne l'ont pas fait. C'est dommage

Sir, JGM Shipping informed us that you refused their insurance against their recommendation which would have included glass breakage. Naturally during Covid-19 Lockdown there will be delays from shippers, JGM did well to get it packed and shipped in the circumstances. The raisonne has been sent to you seperately. If you had communicated with us before leaving this review we could have resolved these things very quickly for you.
