I rarely leave any feedback for auction houses, especially when it is a 1star review. I just don't want anyone else to be taken by this unscrupulous auction house owner, Tom. I asked Tom before bidding if the locomotive part of the train set was in working condition. Answer received from Tom: Yes. I won the auction, paid immediately, and received the full set. The locomotive was not in working order. I contacted Tom and he disclosed to me that he didn't actually inspect the locomotive. In my phone conversation with Tom he came at me with quite a belligerent and in-my-face kind of attitude. I have never had an experience like that conversation went before. He eventually agreed to have the Locomotive repaired for me if I paid for the return shipping cost. I agreed. I could have had the needed repairs done in about 2 weeks, but he refused to let me use my source unless I paid for it. Tom received the locomotive back for the promised repair on 9/17/21. It is now 4 months to the day and I have not received the locomotive back as yet and will no longer communicate with me. When he was communicating with me he would say "You will get it when you get it" I even asked him just to return the locomotive in unrepaired condition and would have to use my source and pay for the full repair myself. No reply fro Tom. Liveauctioneer's Bidder Support team was unable to solve this dispute. I can only hope that they will deplatform this auction house before more bidders/buyers get taken as I have. I wouldn't be surprised if my locomotive has already been sold to another party. To find and purchase a replacement locomotive will cost me about $250 plus shipping. I don't think I need to add any more at this point. I could write a small book relative to this nightmare of an experience, but I want to move on with my life.

I paid for the items as soon as I got the invoice. I never got a paid receipt. I contacted them several times for information. They said they would get back to me and never did. Finally 3 to 4 weeks after the auction I was contactd by UPS for shipping. I still never got a Paid receipt. Very unprofessional. I can't be the only person to have problems. So far all of the other auctions have been o the ball. Not Estate Auction of Harrisburg.

I successfully bid on two items. I paid immediately. Despite several calls to a full mail box, unanswered emails and general lack of response I finally got to arrange shipping through UPS. This was after roughly 6 weeks of attempts to get what I paid for. The crowning glory was to have UPS advise that they where only shipping one item as the other one had "gone missing". This out fit did a three day train auction but was clearly not equipped to handle. If and when you do get to communicate with someone they are all very nice and apologetic but it was clear to me they are disorganized and not reliable. I'd not bid at their future auctions.

One item arrived broken and it was not noted in the auction description. Another item was a non-motorized engine but this was not described (I bid thinking it was motorized). Moreover, I had the winning bid on another engine and yet it was won by someone with a lower MAX bid. I contacted both you and LiveAuctioneers but the responses were less than acceptable. Very disappointed in Estate Auction Co.

The two items were as depicted. Easy transaction and shipping was adequate.

After winning the bid I was told the item was sold to someone else after repeatedly calling the auction house.

i want a refund

i purchased a couple jewelry lots based on photos and description provided. i'm very sorry to say that these items were not as listed. I received very poor post purchase customer service and the owner/auctioneer was very impolite and refused to help in any way and furthermore he actually threatened to try and have me arrested if i disputed the charges with my credit card company. so from my personal experience i would have to say buyer beware!!!!!! take your business elsewhere

Everything I purchased was made to look like an originals. One I received I realized I was taken. They give you few details and hope you make a mistake. This happens a lot with online auction companies. Never buy unless it's stated that it's an original piece. Pics will never tell you. Don't
