I contacted Craig Fontaine numerous times, asking where my (won) auction item was & when it would be shipped. Each time a different excuse. A couple times I was told it was already sent-when I asked for a tracking #, he said he'd call me back with it (and then didn't). There were so many different excuses, it was kind of funny, and I wished I'd started writing all the excuses down from the beginning. Because I did want the item I'd paid for, I continued contacting him until the item was actually mailed. It was at least 12 phone calls, and took many weeks to receive. I was kind of surprised that I did actually receive it, after all that. I am happy with the item, but not happy with the poor customer service. I don't know why Live Auctioneers would allow an auction house that operates like this on their website.

Payment done, item never sent, no longer responding. FYI: LiveAuctioneers said the suspend the auction house but recovering the lost funds is left to the individual bidder. It is an unacceptable response, totally unexpected, and that demonstrates the absolute irresponsibility and complicity of the LiveAuctioneers platform.

Exactly what online users fear. After I promptly paid their invoice they made several unfillfilled shipping notices then stopped responding altogether. FYI LiveAuctioneers will suspend fraudulent auction houses but recovering the lost funds is left to the individual bidder. Thoroughly unacceptable.
