A bit of an impulse buy (bid?) but those are sometimes the best. Shipping was reasonably fast, items arrived in good order and in good time. Would recommend and not hesitate to bid with this auctioneer in the future.

What a comedy of errors! Where to begin. Oct 24 I won several Lots and made payment within a few days. After 2 weeks I had not received any tracking information so I called and enquired and they said we will get it to you shortly. 3 weeks go by and still nothing from them. I contact LiveAuctioneers and express my concerns and enquire where I stand regarding a refund. They called and said they were sorry for the delay and that we are only a small boutique business and only 3 staff (but had literally nearly 1000 lots available). They gave me every covid19 delay excuse you have heard as well. Before shipping they told me that there would be 1 lot missing from my first shipment as they could not find the lot. Then when I finally get this "short shipped" package nearly 5 weeks later I was very disappointed. Their Banknote gradings are extremely generous and the photos are good, actually too good. Be sure to ZOOM in as much as you can and ask for extra photos or even scans. My missing lot turned up on the 7th December-43 days after the Auction! And I live in the same country!! These guys do not have a SHIPPING time frame, which I think should be a LiveAuctioneer mandatory requirement because when I had asked them for a refund because it was taking too long they told me "There is no time frame for shipping won items, they get shipped as fast as we can, about 30 items a day more if we can" My missing item arrived AFTER there next auction started. These guys should be called 2 1/2 Men auction group. I have purchased many items via LiveAuctioneers from USA and Asia and received items in 7-10 days. Worst experience and worst purchase I have ever made. Thankfully was only a small purchase. OMG the excuses!

I want to say Thank You to Scott. I am new at auctions, so when I received only 1 of the 2 lots I won I was concerned because the shipping costs from Australia to California were over 3 times the cost of my purchase. I was concerned I would have to pay shipping twice, I contacted Scott, he explained it was due to Covid restrictions. He assured me they would be shipped as soon as possible. They were and I received them soon after. I think Scott paid for the 2nd shipping cost himself. Thank You Scott, it has been my pleasure working with you. Thank You Christina

I am very proud to now own two beautiful examples of Australian History. People should be aware that we as two nations share a great deal of history and culture, so it s wonderful to touch a part of your history that is also shared with ours. Like I have said, "its all in the cost" and as beautiful as it is to now own these items, I will not be adding to them. This is not the fault of the auction house or the sellers whose items they are, but the cost of transporting two relatively small items from the other side of the world is something I will not do again. It is such a shame but thats how it is.
