This pocket watch was listed as "working" in the auction. Although it does wind up and run, it is not possible to set the time as there is a cog that is slipping in the watches 'internal workings. So, although it was "working", it really isn't. I am disappointed by this result.

Very nice items at Cadmore auctions. Unfortunately the starting prices in this auction were very high, which can be deducted from the fact that there were not a lot of bids above starting price?

Overall, this was another good buying experience with Cadmore. Email and comms are quick and clear, shipping time is good and lot arrived in good time and in good order. The lot was not quite as described, but nothing that would prevent me from purchasing again. Recommended.

Very poor auction house, deliberately hiding the condition. The vase I purchased was told to me that it was complete, but upon receipt it had serious condition issues. I approached them to discuss solving the problem, but they refused to acknowledge it. Nor actively deal with problems. Purchased a fragile ceramic item. It was fairly well packed but one part was allowed to impact another and it broke in transit. Cadmore’s response: “I have received the email regarding the damaged item, unfortunately we are unable to offer any refund as you were instructed by email that this is a fragile item and our usual inhouse shipping service does not cover insurance for damage whilst in transit. I have spoken with the packer of the item and he is even shocked that this has happened as he believed this was adequately packaged for the journey. Sorry I couldn't be of more help with this but we do make all our clients aware of our terms before shipping items out. Regards” In other words, “Sorry, Sucker”. I will not purchase from them again.

This ad describes a "German World War II helmet". It is not a German WWII helmet. The sheet metal isn't even riveted. This helmet IS A FAKE!

You cannot go wrong with this auction house. Get people excellent customer service. Also as a yank I enjoy their English accents. 👍

Cadmore Auctions puts items up for auction, and even if you are listed as the winning bidder, Cadmore will not honor the sale, and will instead email you and demand to increase the sale price substantially because they made a "clerical error". Cadmore also lists a low price for items, does not let people know there is a minimum bid, and right before the item comes up for sale, then announces the minimum bid. It is a waste of your valuable online time to bid with Cademore. This is an ongoing dispute of how LiveAuctioneers does not support its 'bidders. Long time experienced bidder, so don't pretend this is a novice issue. I would also suggest that people who want to SELL items avoid Cadmore Auctions, since if they can make "clerical errors" with some items, it could happen to the ones you want to sell. I have bought and sold on many platforms over 10 + years. Cadmore Auctions is one place to avoid.

This is my second purchase from Cadmores and I can't be happier with the overall experience. Not only is the live streamed auction actually interesting and entertaining, payment is easy, and goods arrive well packed and considerably faster than other auction houses-and I'm asking for shipping from the UK to Australia. Can't be happier, and can't recommend the Cadmores team highly enough! Will be back for more:)

Beware of unknown or hidden costs: I bought an item for 20 £ and eventually paid 80 £ for it! 5 £ buyer's fee (no problem here), 25 £ shipping costs (for a set of postcards that fits in a regular enveloppe!) and to top it all 30 £ import duties as it was sent from an non EU country! Shipping and duties should be clearly mentionned.

I love this group. This is my second time buying. It was easy to convert my US dollar to the GBP. In fact I had to contact them the forst time concerning getting payment to them because of a user (me) problem. They were more than courteous and very professionalism. They have some phenomenal items that interest me and they ship across the big pond with speed. I love buying from this group and look forward to frequently shopping here.

Cadmore shipping put a fragile crystal decanter in a shoebox duck taped it with bubble wrap inside from England got to me chipped and broken did not look anything like the photo that I purchased which was almost flawless I do not recommend Kashmir auctions to anyone that’s far have not respondedVery bad packing program sent proof with photos want a refund terrible Hope you read this
