Yes, this was my first online winning bid... woo hoo! I failed to read the fine print about how to actually receive my item since I do not live near Ft Worth. Western Sportsman LLC made the process simple with several recommendations for companies to pickup, package and ship my winning purchase directly to me (Chris at The Packaging Store was awesome to work with, just say'n). I am thrilled with my purchase and the process... my new to me rattlesnake skin boots fit great!

I didn't read, and didn't arrange shipping. I was first time buyer so, they helped me out. But they aren't a packing and shipping department. Make sure you arrange your shipping!

Packaging/Shipping company worthless and unresponsive.

Very workable and communicative. That was super nice; they made my shipment get here when I needed it. A little mix up that was ultimately corrected. Premium was nice compared to some auctions!

I contacted them when I received the wrong item and they shipped me the correct item to me. They asked me to ship back the mistaken item shipped but offered no discount on my shipping cost to cover taking the mistaken item to a shipper. I’m 30 miles away from any shipping company and they offered no compensation for their shipping mistake.

They were very helpful throughout the entire process. They warned us that shipping on these pieces can get expensive and after the auction I found out that they weren’t exaggerating. They were very helpful in providing shipping estimates and looking at how they could get me the lowest price. In the end I found it was more cost effective for me to drive and pick up my items. They were very professional and accommodating in letting me change my method of retrieval and meeting me at the warehouse. I’ll definitely be a return buyer. I do recommend looking at the photos closely, zooming in and really inspecting the mounts, skulls, etc. I bought a piece that has a lot of slippage that I didn’t notice in the small photo and some skulls with things I didn’t take notice of in the pics. Nothing major or irreparable, and certainly not the auction house’s fault, but something that I learned along the way that I’ll be better about next time to avoid having to spend the time repairing mounts and such.

Called the shipping number listed several time with no answer or return call, same with email, no response. Called the 3rd party shipping and got an answer and was told to send a text with information. No follow up to text. Thankfully had a local friend who could pick up item. Will not participate with this organization again.

I had a great experience with Western Sportsman! I won multiple lots and they shipped them all to me for a reasonable price and did a fantastic job packaging delicate and hard to package items for me. Everything arrived in excellent shape. They even had to order a box to fit a particularly large/strange shaped item and shipping was still reasonable. They responded to me quickly and were friendly too. Thanks!

Bought 5 items at a large 2 day auction and after paying I sent them an email advising them to contact me to pay for shipping. They must have misplaced the email because after 4 weeks I contacted them by phone and they acted like I had never contacted them. However, they shipped the next day. Shipping was not cheap but the items were very well packaged. I will buy from them again but you may need repeat phone calls to finalize arrangements.

It's been over a month now since I've been waiting something to be shipped and I paid for it and they only shipped one item that I won. Apparently they shipped my other thing even though that I paid for it and the shipping to someone else and they just happen to let me know a month later even though I paid for it.

I don't have an issue with the item I purchased, but I have an issue with being told FedEx was the only shipping option, and that it was going to be $70-to ship a small (24 "x 30") sheepskin rug. They managed to fit it in a small box, and when I ran numbers on shipping based on the box size and weight, I came up with nearly half what they charged me. Buyer beware if you're out of state-this place sees shipping as a profit center.
