Smooth Transaction

Dallas Gold and Gun is a little understaffed from time to time, patience. You will get your package. Dallas Gold and Gun is a great Dallas TX business! They run a tight ship and it is amazing the amount they get done with the small crew. If the phone is busy call back in a day or so. They might call you back. There is someone there.

For the second time in as many auctions I bid and won two different firearms only to be told that they did not have the firearms I won, and thus I would not receive it. Each time I paid immediately following the auction and both times after three weeks of receiving nothing I had to call and was then told that I would not be receiving the items that I had won and paid for. Additionally on at least one occasion I was a high bidder on a lot and it did not end or fair warning was not called and they moved on to the next four or five lots only to receive a random message saying that my bid had lost without the auctioneer ever calling it to close. When I inquired about it I was told by an employee that they have a ghost bidder that bids on items that do not meet their minimum requirements based on the cost they paid for the item. These items then go back into their warehouse and I was told the good news was that the item that I didn’t get would be available with the next auction. It would certainly be much more practical for them and honest for their customers if they would just say that they have a reserve price, rather than giving the impression that it’s a no reserve auction. Everyone there appears to be nice and says the right things but performance is well below substandard. The only time that I did receive firearms that I won my FFL called me to tell me that there was no packing material in the box and both weapons including a shotgun barrel was flopping around loose in the larger box and had some cosmetic damage. Clearly these guys may mean well but they simply haven’t got their act together yet. Tried several times since I like the fact that the majority of their guns are new, but as they say the best predictor of the future is the past.

The item was lost after the auction ended, prior to shipment. Dallas Gold and Gun refunded the purchase amount. Great customer service. Special thanks to " Danny " for resolving the issue...

I buy items all over the country and have never had this much trouble getting items I won in an auction. First off, Dallas Gold and Gun didn't actually have the items in stock, they flagged my account because I hadn't paid for items that they couldn't provide me when I went to their store 3 times, and they are generally disorganized as I called several times and they couldn't tell me when my items would arrive at their location. It's funny that the one time I buy something from my hometown that it is the biggest screw-up. They had no explanation for why my items weren't in stock and ready for pickup, they had no explanation for flagging my account as deliquent, other than tto say the owner went through all the outstanding balances and flagged them all even though he never looked to see they didn't have my items on hand. Its like they had an auction and then went and found the items. Totally unprofessional and I will never buy anything from them, and I suggest buyer beware with their auctions.

Took a few phone calls and emails but the items were delivered just as described. Besides the late delivery I still would support this new business.

I picked up. I was treated well. They are opening a new store in addition to their auction.

Scam Auction; they did not even have the item for the auction, 3 + weeks after it was paid for. Their distributor was out of stock. How can you auction an item and not have it physically to auction off. Scam auction avoid at all cost. Worst customer service.

I would like to see better email and text communication on transaction process

it seems they dont have most of the items in stock. they are playing third party. but at least after two months the manager was helpful enough to find my order that had been sitting in the back for the last several weeks (payed for) and gave me the option to receive it or cancel. I choose to cancel. I wish them luck on getting organized

Not sure where they get their MSRP but that is not accurate. Then the price I won the item for was not the same that I received on my invoice, they kept saying they were going to fix it when they received the item in their store, clamming that they do not keep that many items in house. Then told me after several weeks (almost a month) the item was lost in shipping coming from a warehouse to the store front. still waiting on the one item they did manage to get in and ship, over a month later.

Grading is very subjective. Some coins are not slabbed. Others are graded by unrecognized grading services. Buyer beware.

They constantly gave excuses for their lack of employees to deliver the shotgun after several attempts to get the gun shipped we finally had to cancel the sale. They charged my CC and now I am waiting for my credit return. Disappointed with their customer service.
