I once worked for JR Pierce. A copy of that photo hung in my laboratory alongside one from around 1880 of a very similar looking person. It was great seeing the photo again, and being able to get a copy of it.

I have bought from JG Autographs several times via the Live Auctioneers platform and have always had a great experience. I am a bargain hunter, so it is hard to impress me, but they do. Marc

Great people to work with

JG Autographs really knows their stuff. This was my first experience with them and am very satisfied. The only thing I want to remind myself (and everyone) that what you buy it for at auction, and what you will be invoiced and have to pay (after Premium fee-hammer fee-auction platform fee) plus handling and shipping REALLY ADDS UP. Don't be scared to bid, but be careful as you are calculating what you are spending. Enjoy!

The autograph of the German leader with President Ford is a one of a kind signed photo. The matchbox is from Dwight Eisenhower as Commander of NATO. At that time matchbooks were given out as favors. Today challenge coins are now given out. President Ford when he was first elected to Congress filled his pockets with White House matchbooks to give out to his friends. Now the White House distributes better favors such as Tie Tacs, cuff links and charms.

My items came just as pictured. Payment process was a breeze. Very fast delivery. Bought from them before and I am sure will buy from them again.
