Torsten Hornung

I welcome you. Thanks a lot for your interest. The family Hornung is professionally connected with philately since more than 50 years. Since 1984 I'm running my business in Wiesbaden and did more than 29 stamp auctions since then. After a 2-yeared visit to Berlin I came back to my roots in Wiesbaden end of 1999 I am increasingly engaged in the trade with classical stamps and letters (postal history) from all over the world until about 1955. Since I am officially appointed expert on stamps by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wiesbaden I also work for courts and private clients. I belong to the following associations: * BDB = Auktionatorenverband * APHV = Briefmarkeneinzelhandelsverband * ZPVW = Sammlerschutz (Nummer H 0597) * BdPh = Philatelistenverband * APS = American Philatelic Society (#186761) Next to my activities in the stamp market, I am a committed economic junior at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wiesbaden and keep myself fit with biking, running and triathlon. Apart from collecting stamps I am interested in the art of the impressionists and the work of Edward Hopper.
