Rare Chinese porcelain and fine sculptures
The catalogue of this two-day sale traditionally mainly consists of Chinese porcelain. The two large Kangxi famille verte vases and the pair of Imari-style vases are just a few of the highlights in this sale. Next to a vast selection of Chinese taste pieces, we also present a selection of "traditional" export porcelain, such as 'Pronk'-wares and armorial designs. If our staff had to pick a favourite, it would be the collection of Hatcher Cargo pieces! But when it comes to fine paintings, we're also spoiled. Big names such as Sadji, Keiga Kawahara and Yan Bolong will undoubtedly attract interest from passionate amateurs worldwide! Sculpture lovers are also duly served, as this category counts over 200 works. Included is the collection of Mao-statues, formed by a Belgian engineer, active in China in the 1980's. Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai pieces are equally present. We hope to welcome you during our viewing days!
