Our June Fine sale brings together an exemplary group of 17th, 18th and 19th century British, European and American Fine and Decorative arts, including a single owner collection from a beautiful country home in Berkshires, which was decorated in part by Bunny Williams, and includes highly decorative English furniture and tasteful country wares. A plethora of European porcelain, as well as a large collection of Delft, complements a superb collection of English furniture from a distinguished Connecticut businessman. The Fine Art section features a strong group of American paintings, including a very fine Kansas landscape by Swedish/American painter Birger Sandzén, and works by Frederick Remington and William McDougal Hart. Also included is a selection of French landscape and garden-themed paintings, and a selection of 18th and 19th century portraits and still lifes, including a fine landscape by Mihály Munkácsy.
