Grand Auction During Art Basel Miami Beach

The Grand Auction, to be held during Art Basel Miami Beach, is a multifaceted auction which will include pieces by Grand Masters as well as famous contemporary artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Damien Hirst, David Salle and Robert Motherwell, alongside selected works by Dali, Lichtenstein, Max, Dines, Erte, Indiana, Basquiat and Wesselman. Additionally works by such artists as Louis Icart, H.C. Pissarro, and Jose Clemente Orozco, sculptors Alex Archipenko, Ernst Neizvestny and Wilfredo Lam will be featured. The program will continue with the presentation of a collection of artworks by the 2007 Directors Choice Award Winner Purvis Young.
Featured will be some notable rising stars of the contemporary art scene including Keith Pawlak, Cerj Lalonde, Marleen Rose, Scott Menaul, Boris Aptekarev and Richard Kurtz. A contingent of emerging Latin American artists will also be represented.
