Unless otherwise announced, all bids are per lot as numbered in the online catalog. Bids are for the entire lot and each lot constitutes a separate sale. Lots containing multiple items cannot be broken up. Should you have any questions or wish to request additional details/condition reports/photos/shipping information/etc.,. please message us at least 72 hours prior to an auction's start for proper reply time. AUCTION ITEMS: The majority of our auction items are vintage or antiquarian. Due to their age and nature, they are rarely in perfect condition and may show signs of aging, wear, damage and other imperfections, restoration or repair. V.I.A. Vintage Archive will provide item/lot descriptions/conditions to the best of our ability. Fabrics/ materials, eras, where manufactured/by whom, colors, sizes, conditions, measurements, etc. may be exact or may be informed guestimates when original information (ie: labeling, provenance paperwork, etc.) is not available. Informed guestimates should not be treated as a statement of fact. Measurements are manually taken approximates with a standard leeway between 1/4" and 1" depending on the item's category. Given the volume of our vintage lot offerings, catalog descriptive entries may not be full accountings of an item(s). We will not be held responsible for any omissions, unintentional misinformation, inaccuracies and/or errors unless they are an intentional misrepresentation of an item. We make no warranty or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the property or its value and will not be held responsible for the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, authenticity, condition of property or estimate of value. . Bidder agrees that everything is sold 'As Is' and that ALL sales are 'FINAL' and non-returnable or refundable GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: V.I.A. Vintage Archive's Terms+Conditions of Sale, as well as the purchaser's and our respective rights and obligations, shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of NY. By bidding in our auction, the purchaser shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the state courts of NY. If any section of these Terms and Conditions of Auction Sale or any term or provision of any section is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining sections or terms and provisions of a section shall continue in full force and effect without being impaired or invalidated in any way. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: If we are prevented by fire, theft or any other reason whatsoever from delivery of any property to the purchaser, our liability shall be limited to the Hammer Price of a lot provided that the sale transaction has completed. If there has been no completion, V.I.A. Vintage Archive accepts no liability to the buyer.
