Buyer's Premium: Each lot sold in our auction is subject to a twenty-five percent (25%) Buyer's Premium, unless otherwise specified. Reserves: This auction includes property from third parties known as "Consignors," and some lots submitted by Consignors may have a reserve. A reserve is a confidential price agreed upon by the consignor and Riverside Auctions, below which the lot will not be sold. Riverside Auctions may place bids on behalf of the consignor for such lots UP to the reserve amount. Maximum bids placed for lots with reserves will be automatically raised UP TO, BUT NOT ABOVE, the reserve amount or the maximum bid if the reserve exceeds it. As a courtesy to our bidders and to ensure flexibility during our auctions, Riverside Auctions does not disclose reserve prices. If a bid approaches the reserve amount, we may choose to sell the item below the set reserve. Please note that some lots may have a 'Hidden Reserve,' meaning that if the lot fails to meet its designated reserve, it will either be 'passed' or, if there are existing bids, sold to the floor (meaning the item was not sold).
