This collection offered for auction consists largely of 20th century original artworks from various American and European artists. Among those Calder, Léger, Miro, Taro Yamamoto, Albert Urban, and other undiscovered gems. About 30% of the collection is 19th century works on paper, from Edward Lear to Ellison Hoover, Marcello Avenali, Leonard Baskin, and Raphael Soyer. This collection is coming from a very important, eclectic art dealer who had a gallery on Madison Avenue for many, many years.
