An eclectic sale with a selection of antique oriental carpets and
estate gold and antique jewelry, a collection of fine bronzes led by "Speeding Troika Passing a Peasant Sleigh", signed (in Russian) Vasily Yakovlevich Grachev, "Chef Gaulois" & "Cavalier Romain", signed Emmanuel Frémie, "Violinist", sgd. Eugène Delaplanche, and a girl holding dog signed Émile Jean Fr. Namur (1852-1908) plus more.
A collection of autographs will include letters from
Sarah Bernhardt, W.Henry Harrison, Georgia Okeefe and others.
Silver flatware and hollowware is well represented by a
Lebolt tea and coffee service with tray, a large Royal Danish flatware
set and from an old Hamburg estate brought to the US in the 1930's a
pair of cast .800 deer and sleighs.
The same Westchester estate offers Moser glass, Meissen , Galle, a
pair of pieces by Paul Bonifas, Goyard trunks, several inlaid
Beidermeyer pieces, 9 Sevres portrait plates and other treasures.

An extraordinary pair of decorated cabinets with hardstone and ivory inlays formerly in the Dodge collection reportedly purchased from the Metropoltan collection in the 1930's will round out that category.
Every sale includes a few oddities and this one is no exception; an 8 foot mounted African lion should and has attracted a lot of attention and for Dan Brown fans a 1578 copy of Dante's Inferno.
