Estate of Charles Hathcock Absolute Auction

Kennedy's Auction is honored to auction the estate of Charles Nelson Hathcock of Batesville, AR. Mr. Hathcock studied theater in London & New York with Charles Laughton and Stella Adler; as well as Paris, France with mime Marcel Marceau. Charles had a passion for collecting fine antiques and his estate auction reflects that passion. Charles was a member of the Collectors Club and the Early American Glass Club, and hosted meetings in the Hathcock Mansion in Batesville, AR. During one of these meetings, Charles was quoted as saying, "Living with Antiques is for me far more natural than living without them. Old furniture with fond, familiar associations, or unsolved shadowy mystery contributes something much more than most new pieces can." The auction also include select pieces from several other Mid-South Estates including the musical instrument collection of Ellis Truett of Huron, TN, The Living Estate of Gloria Baker of Holly Springs, MS, The Living Estate of Barbara Hathcock & the Late Dr. Alfred Hathcock of Fort Smith, AR.
