AN EXTREMELY FINE SEVRES STYLE EMPIRE REVIVAL PORCELAIN AND GILT BRONZE "NAPOLEONIC" GUERIDON (ROUND TABLE) TOP, CIRCA 1880. The ceramic central roundel finely hand painted with a "three-quarters" full length portrait of Napoleon within a gilt bronze embossed laurel wreath and surrounded by 12 tapering tiles, each painted with a medallion of Napoleon's twelve Marshalls within gilt enameled scrolled laurels and foliates and divided by gilt bronze laurel form tapers. Each Marshall named and with their corresponding "Titres de Victoire" (Victory title) comprising the following: "Marechal Massena-Prince D'Essling", "Marechal Ney-Prince Deca Moskowa", "Marcechal Lannes'. Duc. De. Montebello" Marcechal Bessieres – Duc. Distrie". Marechal Money – Duc. De. Conegliano", "Marechal Victor-Duc. De. Bellune," "Prince Murat- Roi. De, Naples", Marechal Augereau – Duc. De. Castiglione," Marchal Lefebvre – Duc De. Dantzig" "Marechal Mortier – Duc. De. Trevise," Marechal Davoust – Prince D'Eckmuhl" and "Marechal Berthier – Prince De Waram." The top rim terminating with a guilloche style embossed scroll and foliate Gilt Bronze skirt. The Napoleon portrait signed and inscribed lower right. "Marin. De Lefevres, (Versailles). Diameter 31.5 inches (80 cm).
