Description
A beautiful and rare Emilian Wehrle Trumpeter wall clock in as found condition. A fine of his amazing craftsmanship, circa 1860. The brassworks appears to be in good condition, with a pendulum below and 2 bellows mounted above. Four brass horns are mounted on the right. Movement is signed top center, Marked E.W.Co Fabric Marke.

Provenance: Acquired by Forrest Purpin while stationed in Germany in 1958, returning stateside 1961. Resided in Georgia for 11 months then lived out his the rest of his life in Ohio. Given as a gift by him to his daughter.
Condition
Case in old surface, movement appears to be in order. Bellows appear functioning. Weights are missing, but easily replaced. Loss to 2 numerals on the face. Bottom right leaf carving is detached but accompanies the clock. Minor loss to rear of antlers, with other minor loss to leaves.
