A very rare Imperial Porcelain Factory plate from the Coronation Service of Nicholas I (1825-55)
The cavetto painted with the Imperial arms including the collar of the Order of St Andrew on an ermine-lined mantle below the Imperial crown, the border with ciselé gilt trophies and lion masks against a lapis-lazuli ground, with blue Imperial cypher of Nicholas I, the footrim on the reverse gilt, 24cm diameter (three minimal areas of wear to the lapis-lazuli ground)
