the cup, recto featuring a scene of two men and one woman against a garden scene, the scene flanked on either side etchings into gilt, one featuring musical instruments including a lyre, the other featuring a selection of weapons including a shield, all against a solid gilt ground; overall height: 12 cm (4 3/4 in.), diameter: 10 cm (4 in.)

CONDITION
The cup appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall rubbing to the gilt resulting in scattered losses. Light surface scuffs and scratches visible to the interior and exterior. Inspection under UV shows no apparent signs of restoration.
