The 1917 $1 Legal Tender Notes have a much smaller seal and its on the left side of the note instead of the right. This 1880 $1 Legal Tender Note Was the last Legal Tender Note of the 19th Century to be issued . It's referred to as a "Horseblanket Note," due to their large size. The obverse features Washington and a vignette of Columbus sighting America. The reverse shows a "sawhorse" design.
