Description
A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN LIDDED GINGER JARS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of compressed ovoid form and sides painted with blue double happiness symbols amidst long leafy stems, beneath a shoulder of stylized fretwork and surmounted by an associated lid centering matching double happiness symbols. Height: 10 1/2" Diameter: 9" Provenance: Private Collection, Pearland, Texas
Condition
Each in good condition with normal light scratches and tiny edge nicks from use, kiln frits, and general light wear associated with Chinese porcelains of this age and use.
