The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in pale blue under glazed base color which contrast against Wucai Five opaque colors, depicted Dragon amidst flames and fumes enclosed within flori-form cartouche. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on neck, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Jiajing Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
