Russian silver two-piece tea set on a gilded tray, comprising of the lidded teapot and the lidded sugar bowl. Decorated with finely engraved floral and geometric ornaments and the "TH" monogram under the crown. Handles are decorated with hand-carved natural material finials.The sugar bowl and the teapot are hallmarked with 84 silver standard, George the Victorious for Moscow, maker's mark "VI" (Cyrillic), assayer's mark: "LO" (Cyrillic) under the date 1890.The tray is hallmarked with 84 silver standard, George the Victorious for Moscow, and the makers mark "VSG" (Cyrillic).Weight: 41.6 Oz., 1175 g.
