Description
Depicting an episode of the Legend of the White Snake, a Chinese fairytale about a snake spirit who fell in love with a human named Xu Xian , and the ensuing chaos that followed. Marked Wanli Nianzhi in underglaze blue on the river side, but later. Condition: a firing crack at the bottom, residue of wire rust due to hanging wire used to hold the plate in the past, overall great condition without chips, cracks or restorations.
