Description
Of fluted circular forms, both decorated with a macular ox under a tree in a garden with an overhead cloud. One pate has an apocryphal six character Chenghua mark at the base, but both plates are Tianqi (162-1627) period pieces. One plate has a minor chip to its base rim, both have minute glaze jumps along the top rims, both have sand stuck to the base due to firing process commensurate with age, otherwise all in overall great condition.
