Three (3) United States Mint gold coins, including one (1) 1861 $2.50 and two (2) 1853 $1 dollar. 1st item: New Reverse 1861 $2.50 Liberty Head Quarter Eagle or Coronet Type gold coin, Philadelphia mint, designed by Christian Gobrecht (Pennsylvania, 1785-1844). Depicts the left facing head of Liberty wearing a coronet surrounded by thirteen stars with year of issue, obverse, an eagle with outstretched wings with a shield on its chest as it clutches an olive branch and a cluster of arrows surrounded by value and "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," reverse. Reeded edge. 18mm, .900 purity, 4.2 grams. 2nd-3rd items: Two (2) 1853 $1 Liberty Head Type 1 gold coins, New Orleans and Philadelphia mints, designed by James Barton Longacre (Pennsylvania, 1794-1869). Depicts the left facing head of Liberty wearing a coronet surrounded by thirteen stars, obverse, closed wreath with value, year of issue, mintmark, and "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," reverse. Reeded edges. Each coin: 13mm, .900 purity, 1.7 grams. Combined gold weight: 7.6 grams.
