Europe, Italy, Venice, found in western Africa, ca. 18th to 19th century CE. A fine selection of wearable necklaces made with dozens of petite glass trade beads. Two of the necklaces have solely red beads, while 1 is constructed with red and white beads. One necklace exhibits beads with red, white, and black hues, and 2 necklaces feature beads with blue, white, and red hues. Trade beads played a major role in the age of European exploration and colonization, serving as currency on multiple continents.
