Description
A brush pot, glazed blue and white, with six-character mark of the Kangxi period, probably from the time (1661 - 1722)
Cylindrical pot with minimally retracted wall, on the inside rotary grooves. The white ground on the outside of the wall with numerous vertical rows of characters. In a short gap between these rows at the bottom a red seal with four characters. The base glazed on the underside only at the rim and in a recessed central "medallion". In the latter a Kangxi mark with six blue characters. Firing defects, usual slight signs of use, otherwise no damage and intact. Height 15.6 cm. Diameter 19.3 cm.
