Gerardus Boyce, New York, circa 1830-1840; an over-sized service comprising a coffee pot (11 1/2" high), a hot water pot (12 1/4" high), a creamer (7 3/4" high), a covered sugar bowl (10" high), and a waste bowl (5 1/2" high); each piece monogrammed 'BL'; aproximately 4,975 grams total gross; Provenance: The Collection of Ronald Belkin, Long Beach; Note: A hot water urn in this popular pattern by Boyce is in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago and another five-piece service from the De la Guerra Family is in the collection of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum
