Zuni Multi-Inlaid Solid Sterling Silver 40" Bird Belt - This Native American belt is crafted of solid sterling silver and is ornately decorated in the Zuni style with inlaid turquoise, mother of pearl, coral, and jet creating a variety of birds across the length of the piece. The belt is signed with an "RB" maker's mark and "sterling". Measurements: 40"L x 1.5"W. This belt comes from a collection which has been housed in a vault for over 40 years. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes.
